Things to know

To help make your time at the Rallye more enjoyable and to ensure a safe event, we offer some tips and ask only that some common-sense rules be strictly observed:

Please do not touch the aircraft unless invited to do so by the performers.

Security volunteers have your safety first and foremost in their mind. Please follow their directions and remain outside roped-off areas. Unauthorised persons crossing the crowd barriers will cause the show to stop.

Styrofoam and glass containers should not be brought onto the museum grounds. Styrofoam can be blown across the field and is easily ingested by aircraft engines.

Glass is a safety hazard at any outdoor event.

Please put litter in its place! Blowing paper and debris is a hazard to aircraft

Please be alert for moving vehicles and aircraft - look around. Never move backwards while photographing aircraft!

A reminder that children may not be so attentive - we all need to keep an eye on them!

Dress for the weather!

Note: For security and safety reasons, no coolers, ice chests or glass containers are permitted on the airport grounds (but can remain in a vehicle in the parking area). Backpacks and tote bags are permitted but may be subject to search by event security. From experience over the years, for safety reasons, we also have to insist that pets, bicycles, skateboards and in-line skates are also not brought onto the airport grounds.
